Cuisle Cancer Support Centre in Portlaoise is hosting a Cancer Related Fatigue Information Evening with Dr Naomi Algeo on 30 September 2026 at 6pm.

Understanding Cancer Related Fatigue

Fatigue can affect people in different ways, and understanding these different patterns can help people manage their energy more effectively.

During the evening, Dr Naomi Algeo will discuss the different patterns of fatigue and provide practical information on how fatigue may be managed in day to day life.

Managing Your Energy

An important focus of the session will be the principles of energy management.

Participants will learn more about ways to manage their available energy and how this can support everyday activities while experiencing fatigue.

Returning to Work

Returning to work can bring additional challenges for someone experiencing cancer related fatigue.

The information evening will also look at practical ways to manage fatigue when returning to the workplace and help participants better understand how to balance their energy and daily demands.
